Jewelry
Jewelry - an adornment usually made from precious materials and gemstones. Who said that gold and diamonds are a girl’s best friend? Beads and wire have been my friends ever since I took a workshop at the Savannah College of Art and Design called “Textile Techniques in Metal.” I never thought of putting my love of wire sculpture to task through crochet, but here it is! Someday maybe I’ll tackle actually making the beads, but for now, it’s all about the wire. I use coated non-tarnishing copper art wire (because it’s soft enough to crochet), and glass beads. Each piece of jewelry is unique and one-of-a-kind. If you own one, you’re guaranteed a work of art!
